I have admired this abandoned stone barn near downtown Fort Worth for many years. The trees are starting to hide it’s beauty.
I go by it at least once a week on my way to lunch. My colleagues and I are always talking about what a great studio or house it would make. It is all heavy stone with Austin limestone headers and the perfect patina tin roof. Can you imagine what you could do with it?? If I could only win the lottery….

My cards usually come with a few cat hairs……

I am fully with you on this post. Adore old barns and buildings and cats. My cat is under my lt. wrist as I type. I blow dry cat hair out of my laptop all the time.
it looks big enough to be a home and studio! I bet it could be really beautiful once again. We just adopted a kitten and he is just the cutest thing and loves to attack the thread as i sew or play with whatever it is that I am trying to work on! t.xoxoox

OMG, I too would be fantasizing… and peeking inside… this great Stone Treasure! I have a fascination and Love Affair with abandoned Old Buildings that I wish someone would rescue {usually in my imagination it’s ME! Winks} so that they don’t get past the point of no return. This Old House we rescued from being razed about 12 years ago, it was condemned and a Historic site, so I fought the City for two years until I prevailed and purchased it. We had to Live like Gypsies for several months in a Camper in the heat of an Arizona Summer that first year until it was habitable once again, and it’s been a Labor of Love ever since… but I have NO regrets! Step out in Faith with that place if it’s been speaking to your Spirit and Heart for so long… it was very likely meant to be yours!
